Father, we thank You that as we dwell in the secret place of You Most High, we abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We say of You LORD, “You are our refuge and our fortress; Our God, in whom we trust.” Surely You have delivered us from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence at the Cross of Calvary. You have covered us with Your feathers, and under Your wings we take refuge; Father, Jesus is our Way, our Truth and our Life (John 14:6) and we thank You that He is our Truth, He is our shield and buckler.

We decree that we are not afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at our side, and ten thousand at our right hand; but it shall not come near us. Only with our eyes shall we look and see the reward of the wicked.

Father, we have made the LORD JESUS CHRIST OUR SAVIOUR, who is our refuge, even You Most High, our dwelling place, thank You that no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling, our bodies, our church and our children; for You shall give Your angels charge over us, to keep us in all our ways. In their hands, they shall bear us up, lest we dash our foot against a stone. We shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot.

Father we have set our love upon You, therefore You will deliver us; You will set us on high because we know Your name. Father, You said in Your Word that “even before we call upon You, You will answer us" (Isaiah 65:24). You said, Lord Jesus, that in this world there will be trouble but we must not let our hearts be troubled, all that we need to do is believe in You Lord and in our Father God (John 14:1).

Thank you that even at this time when the world is trouble You are with us. Thank you that through our Lord Jesus Christ, You have delivered us and honoured us. Thank You for satisfying us with long life and showing us Your salvation through Jesus Christ.

In Jesus’ Name,
